One for the Darwin Awards
In Caldwell, Idaho a woman who had been fired from an ambulance service tried to sneak back into the building, and the building gave her a death sentence for attempted theft.
Late at night she called in a fake auto accident, presumably knowing that all the vehicles would head for the accident leaving the place unoccupied. She was waiting near the building and slipped through the garage opening just after one of the ambulances pulled out. Unfortunately she mistimed the automatic garage door and got squashed when the door closed.
Safe bet: She was trying to steal some oxycontin. Seems to be the fashionable drug these days. ¶ 12:21 PM
